Regional Champions!!!

State Tournament Information

Practice: 

We will practice Monday-Friday from 3:45 - 5:00.  Monday and Tuesday will be "shorts" practice and Wednesday - Friday will be "pants" practices.

State Quarterfinal Saturday:

Game will be at Centralia Rotary Park at 11:00.  Our opponent will be Carmi.

We will meet at Carterville Junior High for a team breakfast (provided) at 8:00 am.  At 8:15 we will have an equipment check and board the bus (8:30 departure).  We should arrive at the field by 10:00.  As we have in the previous years, we will travel to Centralia via US Route 51 through Du Quoin. 

Other information:

All players will be given $4 in meal money so we can eat at the concession stand (burgers and hot dogs) after the game.  The boys also play Carmi in their quarterfinal matchup at 1:00.  We will be able to watch at least part of their game.  I will post more information about post-game options and transportation home early next week.

With our concession money, we will be able buy each of the girls state tournament t-shirts.  Parents will not need to buy these for the players.

I have made arrangements to have snacks and drinks available for the players for the ride to and from the game.
